Radio PR for finance, money and insurance brands
Money is a constant topic on radio. Phone-ins on bills, savings and debt run all year, and presenters need experts who can give clear, balanced guidance without a sales pitch.
We put your economists, advisers and chief executives on BBC local and commercial stations. Sometimes an outside expert fits better, such as a vet for a pet insurer. The story usually starts with your own data, turned into advice listeners can act on.
Why radio builds trust for financial brands
Financial brands earn trust by being useful. A calm, helpful interview about rising bills does more for your reputation than any product claim.
Commercial radio takes 55.1% of all listening (RAJAR Q2 2026). Its regional networks speak directly to households managing everyday budgets.
Money stories that work on air
Awareness days with a money theme
Small Business Advice Week, National Financial Awareness Day and Care Leavers Week each give producers a planned reason to talk about money.
Claims and customer data
Insurers hold revealing data. Seasonal patterns in claims, turned into safety tips, give presenters a story that helps listeners straight away.
Pressure on household budgets
Research on how people cope with bills or a surprise cost fits the news agenda and gives your expert room to offer guidance.
Difficult conversations
Funeral wishes work on air when the spokesperson is calm, practical and free of jargon. Money skills for young people work best when a young person speaks alongside the expert.
We keep interviews to guidance and education rather than product promotion, and we agree the key messages with your compliance team before anything goes to stations.
Finance campaigns on air
These five finance campaigns delivered 80 items of radio coverage across BBC, Heart, Smooth, Capital and Greatest Hits stations.

Questions we get asked
Can our compliance team approve everything?
Yes. We share the brief, the press materials and the key messages for sign-off before anything goes to stations. Live interviews cannot be scripted, so we brief your spokesperson on the boundaries in advance.
Do we need new research?
Not always. Your own data, such as claims trends or customer insight, can be enough. A fresh survey helps when you need a national figure that producers have not seen before.
How is a campaign paid for and measured?
You agree a capped coverage budget upfront and pay only for coverage that actually airs. The closing coverage report lists every item, the combined audience reach, time on air and the value of the coverage.
