Radio PR for PR agencies

Add radio to your client campaigns without hiring a radio team. We work under your brand or alongside you, and the client stays yours.

Radio as an add-on to your campaign

Your clients want broadcast coverage, but radio sell-in is a specialist job. Producers, news editors and running orders work differently from newsdesks.

We slot in as your radio team. You bring the client and the story, and we bring the producer relationships and the delivery.

Payment by results applies here too. You agree a capped coverage budget and pay only for coverage that airs, which makes radio easy to add to a client plan.

Under your brand or alongside you

You choose how visible we are to your client.

  • Under your brand: we work white label, and reports go out in your name.
  • Alongside you: we join calls as your radio specialist and report to you and the client together.

You keep the client relationship

Either way, the client relationship stays with you. We are there to make your agency look good on radio, not to build our own account.

That is why we never name the agencies we work for, including in the examples below.

What we handle

We can take on as much or as little of the radio work as you need.

  • Shaping your client's story into a radio angle.
  • Research, if the campaign needs a new statistic.
  • Sell-in to producers and news editors.
  • Scheduling and briefing the spokesperson.
  • Audio features and distribution through news networks.
  • The coverage report, with clips for your client's social channels.

Agency campaigns we have run

Aberfeldy, Burns Night 2026. Research found only 23% of Brits celebrate Burns Night every year. The whisky's Global Brand Ambassador spoke on Sky News Radio and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, and the campaign delivered 16 items reaching 4.4 million.

IBM, 2025. An IBM study found 74% of people in the UK and Ireland are comfortable with AI assistants playing a role in their decisions. We turned it into a scripted audio feature, with Sky News Radio among the coverage, and it ran to 32 items.

Golden Charter, National Funeral Planning Awareness Week 2026. Research found 80% of people say loved ones do not know their final wishes. The chief executive spoke on BBC Radio Essex, Heart Essex and Greatest Hits Radio Lancashire, and the campaign delivered 21 items reaching 5.0 million.

Why agencies use us

Radio Relations has run radio campaigns since December 2002, and Relations Group has about 25 years in broadcast PR. Our newsroom, IMN, already supplies content to UK radio, so producers know where our stories come from.

Your client gets specialist radio results. You get a partner who understands that the account is yours.

Questions we get asked

Will you contact our client directly?

Only if you want us to. When we work under your brand, contact goes through you. When we work alongside you, we agree the arrangement with you first.

Can you add radio to a campaign we have already planned?

Yes. Radio sits well alongside print and online coverage, especially around an awareness day. Share the story and timings with us and we will tell you whether it has a radio angle.

Who briefs the spokesperson?

We can brief them directly, or prepare the briefing for you to deliver. Media training is also available if your client's spokesperson is new to radio.

How quickly can you start?

Allow a few weeks for a planned campaign. If your story is breaking, talk to us straight away, because packaged audio can be turned round quickly.

Planning a radio campaign?

Book a call with Adam Cox, Chairman of Relations Group. Tell him what you want to get across and he will tell you honestly how radio could carry it.
